Be kind
Everyone here is learning. Answer the way you would like to be answered on a hard day: gently, without mockery, insults or judgement of anyone's faith.
Share experience, not rulings
This forum is for sharing what helped you and encouraging each other. Please don't give fatwas or declare what is halal or haram for someone else's situation. Those questions deserve a qualified scholar who knows the person. Topics where scholars and schools of thought differ are best discussed with a teacher, not here.
Give your sources
When you quote the Qur'an, give the surah and verse (for example, 2:286). When you quote a hadith, give the collection and number (for example, Sahih al-Bukhari 6464), so anyone can check it onquran.com orsunnah.com.
Protect privacy
- Use a first name or a nickname. You don't need an account.
- Don't share phone numbers, addresses, or anything that identifies you or someone else.
- Don't post anything about other people that they would not want public.
No spam or sects
No advertising, no promotion, no sectarian debates, and no posting the same message many times.
How moderation works
- Messages appear as soon as they are posted.
- If something breaks these guidelines, use the Report button under it.
- A message reported by several readers is hidden automatically until the moderator reviews it.
- The moderator can hide or delete any message that does not follow these guidelines.
